about.
I work as a hand weaver and textile artist, creating slow, tactile pieces shaped by place, travel, and tradition.
Based in Sedbergh, in the Yorkshire Dales, I create finely detailed, handwoven pieces alongside larger textiles, slowly woven on my hand looms. I’ve been weaving for over 10 years, continuing a family heritage rooted in weaving and textile design. I was born in Preston, where those early influences quietly shaped my relationship with materials, pattern, and craft.
My work is led by colour, rhythm, and a love of detail. While travel has played an important role in shaping my visual language, it is here in Sedbergh—where I settled around seven years ago—that my practice feels most grounded.
Alongside weaving, I work with flowers and photography, both of which subtly feed into my textile practice. Each piece is made with close attention to texture, balance, and quiet detail, reflecting a deep respect for traditional handcraft and the materials I work with.
